Granville, Ohio - Coming off a program-best run in the Summers Cup at the College Squash Association National Divisional Championships, the Denison men's squash team opens its 2026-27 season this Friday at home, returning two All-Liberty League honorees and a deep group of veterans as it looks to build on last winter's momentum.
2025-26 Recap
The Big Red finished third at the Liberty League Championships in February before heading to Philadelphia for the CSA Divisional Championships. After a tough quarterfinal loss to Bowdoin, No. 28 Denison battled back through the consolation bracket, edging No. 25 Bates 5-4 behind a pair of five-game wins from
Nate Cukierman and
Alex DeLuca, then topping No. 26 Wesleyan 6-3 to claim fifth place in the Summers Cup. The run was the deepest in program history in the Summers Cup and lifted Denison to a 25th-place finish overall in the CSA.
After the season, senior captain
Juan Felipe Hernandez was named Liberty League Player of the Year after going 13-3 overall and 6-0 in league play at the No. 1 spot, and four Big Red players earned All-Liberty League recognition.
