Alexis Burkhalter joins the Denison Women's Tennis program's coaching staff as an Assistant Coach for the 2026-27 season.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Burkhalter graduated from Belmont Abbey College, where she was a four-year letter winner on the women's tennis team. At Belmont Abbey she earned a Bachelors degree in Sports Management. Burkhalter was named All-Conference Carolinas two times throughout her career as a Crusader. During her senior year she finished 8-3 in league play in singles, and 9-2 in doubles play. Her efforts on and off the court earned her a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team in 2026.
