Olivia Johnson enters her second season as an assistant women's basketball coach at Denison University for the 2026-27 season.
Johnson joined the Big Red women's basketball team coaching staff as the team's Post Coach, during the historic 2025-26 season, helping Denison secure the programs first NCAA National Championship title, and finishing the season with a program best 30-2 record. In her first season with the Big Red she coached Anelly Mad-toingue during her breakout sophomore season, where Mad-toingue finished second in the NCAC in rebounding with 9.9 a game, and led the conference in blocks with 2.5 blocks per game, which ranked 13th in the nation. Â
Johnson is a graduate of Ohio University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2019, while playing all four years on the Bobcats women's basketball team. Since 2020 she's been working as a project engineer and administrative assistant with Diversified Engineering Inc., and from the time she graduated from Ohio University has coached basketball as either an individual instructor or assistant high school basketball coach. Her focus as a Post Coach is player development centered around basketball IQ and discipline.
