DANVILLE, Ky.- In its first road game after a stretch of home contests, the Denison men's soccer fall 2-0 to Centre College. The Big Red move to 3-1-2 overall, while the Colonels improve to 2-2-2. 

The match started slowly, with a couple of shots from the Big Red and Colonels early on, but neither team could find the back of the net. Denison tallied six shots, with one on target from Will Hunter in the 31st minute. Shortly after, Centre tried to answer with a shot on goal of their own, which Alex Provost skillfully stopped, keeping the game scoreless heading into halftime.

In the second half, the pace and energy of the match shifted. Denison generated six corner kicks and put up eight shots. Unfortunately, for the Big Red, Centre's four shots in the half produced two goals late in regulation, forcing the Big Red to play from behind in the final 15 minutes of play. Unable to pull off its usual late antics, the Big Red ultimately suffered its first loss of the season.

Provost finished the day with one save. On the offensive end, Denison held a 14-6 advantage in shots and finished the day with an 8-2 edge in earned corners.
