Saratoga Springs, N.Y. — Denison's men's tennis team put players into the semifinals or better in six of eight singles and doubles flights at the Skidmore Open, Oct. 10-11 at Skidmore College to finish out their team fall schedule. The invite featured Bowdoin, Middlebury, Skidmore, Swarthmore, Wesleyan and Williams. Bowdoin and Swarthmore reached the NCAA Quarterfinals last season.

The doubles pairs led the way. Ninth-seeded in their own right a week earlier, Chika Nwaozuzu and Nick Meyers reached the Flight A final before falling to Noah Lewis/Thehan Wijemanne 5-7, while Jackson MacTaggart and Arya Ganapathy Kallambella matched them with a run to the Flight C final, dropping a tiebreak 6-7 (2-7) to Rishi Verma/Francis Alexander Lendvay Thoresen.

In singles, Nwaozuzu, MacTaggart and Tom Suedmeyer each reached the semifinals of their flights, with Kallambella, Minato Koido and Wesley Huang all advancing to the quarterfinals. Borosko teamed with Huang in doubles, where the pair reached the quarterfinals. The Big Red get geared up this week, as Borosko, Nwaozuzu, and Meyers will compete in the ITA Cup in Rome, Ga. on October 15 through October 18.
