Cleveland, Ohio - On Tuesday, October 27, the NCAC announced its weekly athlete of the week honors. For the second time this fall, the Denison men's soccer program was honored with an athlete of the week, as Liam Walsh was named the Men's Soccer Player of the Week.

Liam Walsh played a crucial role in Denison's backline in back-to-back 1-0 victories over No. 8 Kenyon College and OWU. In the Big Red's midweek victory over the ranked Owls, Walsh helped Denison defend 11 shots, four of which were on goal, and despite giving up seven corners, Kenyon was not able to find the equalizer. In Denison's 1-0 win over the Battling Bishops, Walsh and the defensive line kept OWU to just five shots and gave up just one corner on the day.

Denison is in action tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, October 28, when they travel to Wabash for a 4:00 p.m. matchup.
