9/1/2026 2:34:00 PM

After seeing late-season success in the spring, the men's golf team looks to continue their push into the 2026-27 season.

2025-26 Recap

The squad started their season with a home meet at the Denison Golf Club, placing fourth out of 11 teams to kick off the fall season. There, the Big Red would continue to compete in three more fall invitationals, with their highest finish being third at the Donald Ross Classic hosted by John Carroll. In the spring, the team started to ramp up their production through every tournament, winning the DePauw Spring Invitational to conclude the regular season. In the NCAC Championship, Denison would finish sixth, capping a season that saw the Big Red progress throughout every week.

Team Roundup

Denison will be a young but talented group in the 2026-27 season, graduating three seniors. The Big Red feature three first-years on their roster for the 2026-27 season, three sophomores and four juniors.

Key Returners

Rising sophomore Jack Pelletier returns after having a standout first-year season, landing third team All-NCAC honors to conclude his rookie season. Pelletier finished first out of the group in six events across the season, and saw his lowest round of 70 come in the DePauw Spring Invitational. The overall lowest round from the entire team came from rising junior Owen Blakely, who shot a 68 (-3) at the Muskingum Spring Invitational. Blakely shot an average score of 76.3 across the entire season, playing in all 11 tournaments. Rising sophomore Will McCarthy saw his season shortened because he studied abroad, but he made the most of his time in the States, shooting a 74.8 round average.
