Big Red Tie with Panthers in Late-Night Defensive Showcase

The Big Red started the match with a shot from Julian Bozzolo in the 10th minute to apply early offensive pressure, but it was saved. Both teams got a couple of chances at the net but were unsuccessful, and the teams went into halftime tied 0-0. Denison and Hanover shot four shots apiece, with the Big Red having two on goal. The Panthers racked up five fouls and two yellow cards in comparison to the one by the Big Red, proving to be a chippy match early on.

The start of the second half saw much of the same, with a Jack Rice shot saved by the Panther goalkeeper to continue the offensive presence for the Big Red. Miles Crosser and Rice would send shots minutes later, but could not connect. With shots from Lowen Jamison and Kaden Kist coming up unsuccessful in the final minutes, the match would come to a close in a 0-0 tie. Goalkeeper Alex Provost had three saves in the net, playing in all 90 minutes. The Big Red outshot the Panthers 14-6 and in corners 10-3.
